The Clean Slate Audit is a structured diagnostic review for clients experiencing banking, investment, lending, payment, insurance, or onboarding difficulties without a clear picture of the underlying cause. The Audit establishes the factual position, identifies likely sources of adverse-data friction, and determines where remediation effort is most likely to be worthwhile. Typical outputs include a structured issue summary, chronology, source and risk-data mapping, prioritised remediation opportunities, identification of low-value challenge routes, and a recommended next-step strategy. It may be appropriate where friction is repeated or unexplained, more than one institution has raised similar concerns, adverse data is known but its syndication is unclear, or an independent specialist assessment is needed before wider remediation.

02 — CLEAN SLATE REMEDIATION
Structured remediation where the evidence supports action.
Clean Slate Remediation is Richmond’s project-based execution service for clients where specific adverse-data, source, screening, or profile issues have been identified. Depending on scope, work may include DSAR preparation, source tracing, rectification, accuracy and restriction requests, archive challenges, screening-provider correspondence, complaints, escalation material, evidence bundles, chronology packs and institutional correspondence support. The objective is not unnecessary correspondence: it is identifying the strongest realistic points of leverage and pursuing them in a disciplined way. Possible objectives include correction of inaccurate information, amendment of incomplete profiles, reduced visibility of outdated information, correction of source relationships, stronger documented risk-data positioning and nil-search outcomes where appropriate and achievable.

Clean Slate Shield may include periodic review of agreed names and entities, monitoring for resurfacing adverse material, open-source change reviews, follow-up where remediation remains incomplete, chronology maintenance, onboarding-question review, updates to institutional explanation materials and periodic status reporting. Shield is not a guarantee that new adverse material will never appear; it provides structured oversight and faster response when issues arise.

The Institutional Explanation Pack helps a bank, lender, broker, insurer, investment platform, payment provider or compliance team understand a client’s position accurately and efficiently.
