Specialist support for adverse data, AML/KYC friction, and complex onboarding issues.

Richmond Statutory Consultancy provides structured, evidence-led services for legitimate individuals and businesses dealing with adverse data, screening-profile issues, data accuracy concerns, and repeated institutional friction.

Our work is designed to identify where the problem may be originating, assess what can realistically be challenged or improved, and provide a clear route from diagnosis through remediation and future positioning.

OUR APPROACH

Different problems require different levels of intervention.

Some clients need to understand why they are encountering repeated compliance friction. Others already know the likely source and require a coordinated remediation strategy. Some need ongoing support after initial corrective work, while others require a professional evidence pack to explain the position clearly to an institution. Richmond’s services are designed to work individually or as part of a wider Clean Slate remediation strategy. Every matter begins with a suitability assessment.

01 — CLEAN SLATE AUDIT

Understand where the friction may be coming from.

The Clean Slate Audit is a structured diagnostic review for clients experiencing banking, investment, lending, payment, insurance, or onboarding difficulties without a clear picture of the underlying cause. The Audit establishes the factual position, identifies likely sources of adverse-data friction, and determines where remediation effort is most likely to be worthwhile. Typical outputs include a structured issue summary, chronology, source and risk-data mapping, prioritised remediation opportunities, identification of low-value challenge routes, and a recommended next-step strategy. It may be appropriate where friction is repeated or unexplained, more than one institution has raised similar concerns, adverse data is known but its syndication is unclear, or an independent specialist assessment is needed before wider remediation.

02 — CLEAN SLATE REMEDIATION

Structured remediation where the evidence supports action.

Clean Slate Remediation is Richmond’s project-based execution service for clients where specific adverse-data, source, screening, or profile issues have been identified. Depending on scope, work may include DSAR preparation, source tracing, rectification, accuracy and restriction requests, archive challenges, screening-provider correspondence, complaints, escalation material, evidence bundles, chronology packs and institutional correspondence support. The objective is not unnecessary correspondence: it is identifying the strongest realistic points of leverage and pursuing them in a disciplined way. Possible objectives include correction of inaccurate information, amendment of incomplete profiles, reduced visibility of outdated information, correction of source relationships, stronger documented risk-data positioning and nil-search outcomes where appropriate and achievable.

No particular outcome is guaranteed. Outcomes depend on the underlying facts, legal basis, data source, and decisions made by independent third parties.

03 — CLEAN SLATE SHIELD

Maintain a stronger position after remediation.

Clients with recurring due diligence exposure may benefit from continued monitoring and maintenance support after initial corrective work. Clean Slate Shield may include periodic review of agreed names and entities, monitoring for resurfacing adverse material, open-source change reviews, follow-up where remediation remains incomplete, chronology maintenance, onboarding-question review, updates to institutional explanation materials and periodic status reporting. It is suited to directors, founders, complex historic profiles, continuing exposure to adverse-data risk, recurring institutional onboarding and clients who want continuity after a remediation project. Shield is not a guarantee that new adverse material will never appear; it provides structured oversight and faster response when issues arise.

04 — INSTITUTIONAL EXPLANATION PACK

Sometimes the strongest solution is a clearer institutional record.

Not every item of historic or adverse information can or should be removed. The Institutional Explanation Pack helps a bank, lender, broker, insurer, investment platform, payment provider or compliance team understand a client’s position accurately and efficiently. A pack may include an executive summary, factual chronology, source-by-source clarification, supporting evidence, corrections already achieved, current factual position, residual-risk explanation, proposed onboarding wording and supporting correspondence. It is intended for enhanced due diligence, onboarding review, lender or broker queries, investment-platform compliance review, insurance or payments onboarding and future institutional applications. The objective is clear, professional presentation without misleading or minimising legitimate current issues.
